Cal (or @Bubblyernie) is currently a student in Toronto, Canada and an aspiring colourist and illustrator with an educational background in both traditional media and design. She graduated from Sheridan's Illustration program in 2025 and won the 2025 Applied Arts Student Award for Graphic Novel Illustration.

When not drawing (the rare occasion), she can be found animating, doing photography or working on cartography.​

As a lover of classic tabletop games and the fantasy genre, her work focuses primarily on character illustrations, comics and designs in that field. She has a great interest in the baroque, indie art shows and strange jewelry. Her greatest enemy: horses. Like, conceptually.

She also likes to refer to herself in the third person, apparently.
